Amazing food. Door Dash delivers all the way to Friendswood and the food is always hot and delicious. So far we've tried several different dishes and none have disappointed. Husband loves the Hunan Shrimp. I try new dishes each time. We've ordered in at least a down times. Enjoy!

Strangely, this placed closed -- then reopened a few months later under the same name ... with the same menu.
But it's not the same.
Recipes at this place are average, at best. Egg rolls aren't even close to the original Qing Qing version in size or flavor.
Folks here are nice and the food seemed fresh enough. But no longer worth my drive. -

Usually visit the one in Texas City, but was hungry and in area. Drinks tasted and smelled funny, I think it was the ice plus the machine was out of order . Coke tasted like I had licked a metal pipe . So she gave me a can which I appreciate. Overall my spicy chicken was spicy, but my soup was awesome, egg roll could have stayed in back fried kinda hard and not as tasty.

Qing Qing is a typical American-styled Chinese restaurant (there are some authentic Chinese Hot Pot and Dim Sum places in H-Town which are worthy of the trip), nestled in what used to be the old HEB shopping Center on 518 and HWY 3.
I stopped by for lunch, had the lunch special of General Tso's and an egg roll. Unfortunately, my big fat egg roll was still a little frozen in the middle. Also, it was served with the little take-out packs of duck sauce, not house-made; but of course, if they were going to take the time to make house-made egg rolls, they'd surely accompany it with a house-made sauce.
The General Tso's was white meat (this dish is often served with dark meat) lightly glazed (not overwhelming, as some places do, destroying the intended purpose of a crispy, textured fried food - this was a perfect amount) with a tangy sweet sauce that after chopping up one of the provided chilis added a nice bit of heat to it - not bad!
I also ordered soup on the side, which never came (per the waiter, the kitchen screwed up) - by the time the waiter realized, I was already devouring my entree and told him no worries. He (or the guy in the kitchen that screwed up) saved me $1.75 (you have a choice of egg roll or soup with the special, not both) and a few extra calories. Besides, life's too short to sweat the small stuff and I walked out with a full belly.
The prices are very reasonable and it's a hundred (oh hell, a thousand) times better than any of the nasty local Chinese buffet restaurants. It may not be the best in town, but it's also not the worst and you definitely won't walk away feeling ripped off.
Tip: If you get the special, and want both soup and an egg roll, get the soup w/the special and the egg roll on the side - instead of vice versa. By doing this (using current menu prices), you'll save $.45 per order. If you're eating in, I suggest adding these savings to your tip (the waiter that worked here today, busts butt and more than deserves it).
